Ireland Work Permit | Optimus Corporate Services

Ireland is one of those countries where people love to work. People love it because it has a lot of job opportunities, the health benefits are great and the environment is very friendly towards foreigners. The country is also known for its friendly people and good social services, which make it easier to integrate into the community when you move there.

If you are an individual living in Dubai and would like to move to Ireland, then you must have a work permit. With so many things to consider when moving across borders, this can be a daunting task for anyone. However, we at Optimus Corporate Services make it easy for you.

We understand the frustration that comes with getting through these processes and have helped hundreds of people do just that. We can help you get a work permit for Ireland by guiding you from start to finish. Our team of experts will guide you along the way while also helping with the application process itself if need be.

Types of Ireland Work Visas

Critical Skills Employment Permit

The Critical Skills Employment Permit is Ireland skilled immigration for workers who are needed in the country. It is issued to those who have an offer of employment from an Irish company and who have the qualifications and experience to perform the role.

A critical skills work permit is a temporary residence permit that allows applicants to live and work in Ireland for two years, with the possibility of renewal for another two years (or a total of four years). The permit does not lead directly to permanent residence status or citizenship.

Spouse/Partner/Dependent Permit

If you are a non-EEA national and your spouse, partner or dependents are Irish or EEA nationals (i.e. European Economic Area), they may be able to apply for this type of visa. The important thing to note is that the spouse/partner/dependent must be living in Ireland with their spouse/partner.

This permit allows the partner of an Irish citizen to work in Ireland. However, if they have been living outside Ireland for more than two years before applying for this permit, then it will only be granted if there is evidence that they are working in an occupation on the shortage occupation list (SOL).

Reactivation Permit

The Reactivation permit allows a non-EEA national who has been previously employed in Ireland to return to work in Ireland. The holder must have been employed in Ireland for at least 12 months before they can apply for this permit.

The Reactivation permit is also available to those who are currently self-employed but want to take on an employee and continue working as an employer in their own business.

Intra-Company Transfer Work Permit

The Intra-Company Transfer Work Permit is for multinational companies that have branches or subsidiaries in Ireland. It allows employees to transfer from a branch or subsidiary of their company in another country to a branch or subsidiary of their company in Ireland.

The purpose of the Intra-Company Transfer Work Permit is to allow multinational companies to transfer employees who are already working for them overseas, rather than recruiting staff locally at every office location they open. This can be beneficial for both employers and employees: it reduces costs by retaining experienced workers and avoids unnecessary recruitment costs.

Working Holiday Visa

You can apply for a working holiday visa if you are between 18 and 30 years of age, from Australia, Canada, or New Zealand. You must also have a return flight booked before leaving Ireland.

The maximum length of stay on this visa is 12 months and you can take up employment for up to six months with any one employer. The Irish Department of Justice has confirmed that the Working Holiday Visa will not be renewed once it expires – so make sure you keep track of your time in Ireland!

Eligibility Requirements For Obtaining An Ireland Work Permit

For the Ireland Work Permit Eligibility Requirements, you must meet the following criteria:

-You must have a job offer from an employer in Ireland. Your employer must be registered and authorized by the Irish government to employ foreign workers.

-Your employer must cover your living expenses while working in Ireland. This includes providing accommodation, food, and travel costs.

-You cannot apply for an Ireland work permit if you are currently staying in Ireland on a tourist visa or student visa.

Supporting Documentation For Ireland Work Visa

The primary purpose of the Ireland Work Permit is to allow Non-EEA nationals to work in Ireland. The application process is straightforward, but you must submit an employment contract and supporting documentation.

The following are some of the documents you should include in your application:

Employment contract: This should specify the details of your employment and the terms and conditions under which you will be working. It should also include information on salary, benefits, and vacation time.

Financial records: If you’re relying on your funds for living costs, provide a bank statement that shows how much money you have available on deposit. If you’re being sponsored by an employer, then they will provide proof of their ability to cover your living expenses while in Ireland.

Proof of funds: If you don’t have adequate funds for living expenses or if no sponsor is willing to cover these costs, then you’ll need to show evidence that you can sustain yourself financially while waiting for approval of your work permit. This could include showing that you have sold assets or liquidated shares to generate income while in Ireland.

Why Migration To Ireland Is A Good Idea

There are many reasons why people immigrate to Ireland.

  1. The Irish economy is one of the most successful in Europe and this has attracted many people from around the world.
  2. There are many jobs available in Ireland, especially in areas such as healthcare, engineering, and technology.
  3. Ireland is a member of the European Union (EU) which means that there are no restrictions on immigration so anybody can come and live here if they have a job offer or family connection with somebody who lives here already.
  4. The cost of living in Ireland is much lower than in other countries in Western Europe and it’s possible to get accommodation for as little as €100 per month including bills if you choose somewhere outside Dublin City Centre where rents are cheaper.
  5. The climate is very similar to that found in England, Scotland, and Wales which means that it does not get too hot or cold so most people will be able to adapt easily to life here.
  6. Public transport is good in most parts of Ireland although there are some rural areas where buses do not run very often so you would need a car if you were going to live there.
  7. You can also travel across the 27 Schegen countries and UK without any additional paperwork or visa filing.
